“Absolutely loved it. The place has just been done up with new bathrooms, it was really comfortable and had loads of space for us all. Location was great and we really enjoyed the woodland walks- we saw a deer and heard plenty of owls. I can thoroughly recommend and certainly hope to return.”

“Stayed at The Mill in February and it was lovely. Very clean, cosy and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bathroom was very nice and the radiators and log burner meant we were warm inside, even if it was cold outside. The owner was extremely helpful, polite and easy to contact. Great location and great feel to the place.”

“We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. It’s in a lovely, peaceful and secluded location next to a working farm but very close Bude and nearby attractions. Lovely big kitchen diner with all the necessities. Also nice bathroom and big bath to relax in. Great communication and the owners took great care to keep us safe and the property sterile amid the pandemic. Perfect place for a staycation in Cornwall.”

This is a lovely, tastefully furnished property in a great location, close enough to all the various amenities North Cornwall has to offer but feeling wonderfully secluded also. “Our stay at “The Stables” was exceptional. Set in glorious countryside we found total peace and quiet. We spent two weeks here, with our dogs, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The surrounding garden is well maintained and the Badger walk is lovely. The property is perfectly situated to enable plenty of exploration and is not far from the likes of Port Isaac, Boscastle and Padstow.”

“The cottage is a lovely little gem of a place, tucked away well and truly off the beaten track. It’s a high quality accommodation, cosy and tastefully decorated. Our kids made the most of the undercover table tennis table by the courtyard, which was a blessing because we didn’t luck-out with the great British weather. There’s loads to do in the area, and if you want to explore north cornwall we’d highly recommend this place as a base.”

"Perfect for my family!"
“The cottage was perfect for my family, the location was rural and had the most wonderful fox and badger walks in the forest that my 6 year old autistic boy was delighted with along with our little doggy. The cottage was cosy and we fell in love with the log fire. Only a few miles from Widemouth Bay and Bude the trip was worth the 6 hour journey. My only regret is that we didn’t have longer time stay at the cottage. Hope to come back soon.”

“Returning for the second time in as many years just confirmed how great a place this really is! Idyllic location nestled amongst woods and green fields – super converted cosy Barn – minutes from a host of beautiful Cornish beaches! Our dogs absolutely love Rebecca’s place – as do we! Virtually step straight out of the front door into the surrounding gardens and then into the private woods with it’s secluded woodland walks. Highly recommended!!”

"A wonderfully peaceful place to stay"
“We found the Mill at Knowle farm to be a wonderfully peaceful place to stay and take a break from our busy lives. It is well equipped, clean and comfortable in a quiet spot away from town but only a short drive to Widemouth bay and the coast path. Bude has shops and supermarkets if needed. We enjoyed coast path walks, cycling through the lanes (hilly) and visited Crackington haven, Boscastle, Tintagel and Port Isaac whilst we were here. Would definitely recommend!”
